Would you believe that that many professional actors don’t take the time to actually file their taxes? I’m sure you heard the stories about celebrities owing the IRS millions of dollars in back taxes. Well, I can tell you this–you don’t want to owe the IRS anything! Now’s the time to get into the habit of doing your taxes if you aren’t doing it now.
A good accountant will help you “write things off.” You’ll be surprised as to what you can legitimately write-off as an actor. Don’t be afraid of the IRS, embrace the IRS.
