You’re definitely gonna have to have a car if you’re gonna get around L.A. for auditions. If there’s one thing that an agent or manager cannot stand is an actor who can’t make an audition because of lack of transportation.

Tardiness will also quickly ruin your reputation in this business as well. Make sure you have something reliable to get around town. Having a car is one of the most important things an actor needs to have in becoming a professional actor in the business. It may sound funny, but it’s true. I can’t stress enough; have a car!
